Have you seen all the election advertisements lining the streets? Have you wondered who the candidates are and what they stand for? South American Explorers is hosting an Election Forum, it will be a time to learn about and discuss different topics regarding the election. Carlos Morelli–from InsideLima–will give an introduction to the election and then there will be time for discussion and questions. The elections are April 10th so come and get informed about the 2011 general elections that are fast approaching. Cost: Members 4 soles, Non-members 7 soles. Date: March 2nd from 6pm until 7:45pm. Downtown Walking Tour
Following the success of our Halloween/Criollo Music Day walking tour back in October, we’re planning another walking tour with Carlos from InsideLima. This time it will be a tour of downtown Lima, visiting many points of interest in the city center, including the MALI museum. The tour will last approximately 3 hours, after which we’ll enjoy refreshments at a restaurant. To help us with organizing this event, we would be grateful if you could let us know if you are planning to join us (email here). The cost includes transport, the tour with professional guide, museum, drink and snacks.
