THERE ARE MANY THINGS TO DO IN THE CITY, BUT WE CONSIDER THAT CERTAIN EVENTS, BESIDE FROM OFFERING FUN, COULD ALSO HELP US TO BETTER UNDERSTAND THIS PLACE AND THE LOCAL SOCIETY. INSIDELIMA SUGGESTS THE FOLLOWING EVENTS:
FITECA means Street Theatre Festival (Fiesta Internacional de Teatro en Calles Abiertas), and congregates every first week of May different groups coming from all around the world. This event takes place in La Balanza, Comas, in the middle of the hills located in the very northern side of the city. This is a great local initiative that started in 2002. This effort pretends to promote theatre, art and culture as a way for obtaining social transformation.
