Inside Lima- Soccer and the City Carlos Morelli from Insidelima will be joining us this month at SAE to talk about Lima and its soccer clubs, from the beginning of the 20th century. We’ll take a trip back in time, when players were members of the local aristocracy, British colonists, and sailors. We’ll follow the history of soccer in Peru through to its current popularity among both rich and poor Limeños alike.Carlos is always glad to give suggestions about books to read, films to see and exhibitions to visit.
