Thematic tours. The Royal San Andrés Hospital: Where the Incas’ mummies were buried
Considered the oldest hospital in South America, opened in 1552, this place is supposed to host the mummies of at least 3 Incas, including Pachacutec. This incredible story seems to be true, even if after several intents of excavations nothing has been found. The last intent was headed by the local archaeologist Antonio Coello together with Brian S. Bauer from National Geographic in 2005.
