 ‘Museo de Arte de Lima’ presents the Pop Art Collection of the Valencia Modern Art Institute. Sunday the entrance is 1 sol.

‘La Casona de San Marcos’ has 4 interesting proposals.

  • ‘Proyecto Barrio’ is an initiative of a group of neighbors from Barranco that pretends to improve the public areas of the district with civic actions, more gardens and cultural activities, like the Barranco Carnival. Goes until July 8th.   www.proyectobarrio.com
  • ‘Los orígenes del Perú’ is a beautiful exhibition that shows the history of Peru since the big bang. A must for archeologists and anthropologists.
  • ‘Homage to Craig Morris’ is a photo exhibition dedicated to this important American archeologist who made relevant studies and excavations in Peru.
  • The San Marcos Contemporary Art Collection is still open until the end of July.

‘Museo de Arte Italiano’ presents an exhibition of art pieces by Angela Occhipinti, an artist that uses different kind of materials in her works. Paseo de la República 250, Lima Center. Opening July 20th 7 pm.

‘Centro Cultural de España’ presents ‘Deshabitables’, an exhibition that reflects about the destiny of architecture and cities in general. Opening July 9th 7:30 pm.

‘Alianza Francesa Miraflores’ presents an art exhibition titled ‘El Método del Recurs(e)o’ showing conceptual works that pretend to symbolize the negative effects of progress in our planet. Until July 18th.

‘Centro Cultural Británico’ in Miraflores presents ‘Natura’, a photo exhibition by Ana Cecilia Gonzáles Vigil. Her pictures are the result of an expedition to the Andes and the Forest Amazon as part of the Cape Farewell Project, organization that invites artists, communicators and scientists from all over the world for offering their point of view regarding the climatic change. Opening 8th July.
