Lucia de la Puente’ Art Gallery presents 2 exhibitions: The main one in the ground floor is dedicated to Emilio Rodriguez Larraín, an 80 years old local artist who was friend of Duchamp and is still producing fresh art pieces. The first floor hosts the project ‘A Contemporary Art Museum for Puno’, a very original idea conceived by César Cornejo that consists in making a disseminated museum occupying many houses of the city. ‘Alianza Francesa Art Gallery’ in Miraflores hosts the exposition ‘Reciclajes’, art pieces made with recycled materials by Maricruz Arribas. You can also find many of her works spread around in local bars and hotels. Open until September 19th. Free.

‘Alianza Francesa’ – Miraflores presents also ‘Amo Amazonia’, a group of films dedicated to the Amazon Forest. Avenida Arequipa 4595, September 2nd  –  9th  7.30 pm. Free.

‘Centro Cultural Británico’ presents ‘The Fem Power of the Beatles’, a Tribute concert by Honey Pie, a new local band which members are females. Tuesday 14th: San Borja Auditorium, Av. Javier Prado Este 2726. Wednesday 15th: Pueblo Libre Auditorium, Av. Bolivar 598. Both at 7:30 pm and for free.

 ‘ICPNA’ Art Gallery in Downtown hosts the exposition ‘Less time than Space’ organised by Goethe Institute.  Artists from different countries use the video for giving their particular point of view in relation with the celebration of the 200 years of independence in Latin America. `Centro Cultural de España’ presents ‘Mush Up’, an exhibition that pretends to offer a general view of the local art tendencies by reuniting 17 different artists. Natalio Sánchez 181, Santa Beatriz. Opens until October 3rd. Free entrance.
